LITERATURE LIV began in July 2019, during the deep depths of my procrastination post-degree, as a way for me to look back through all the books I’ve finally had the chance to read during my newfound freedom, and to keep my reviews neatly in one place.
As with all recent graduates, it goes without saying that the list is B R O A D.
I graduated from the University of Exeter in July 2019, having received a high 2:1 in BA English with Honors (yay!), and have worked part-time for Rydon Publishing for the last two years, as well as completed placements with Penguin Random House and Blackwell’s Bookshop.
Unfortunately I was one of the many who lost their jobs at the beginning of the pandemic, and so I have picked up full-time work for Waitrose & Partners whilst I seek out my dream publisher! I’ve kept my toes in the water through this blog, networking over on Twitter @OliviaHuse and volunteering as a Proofreader and Publicist over at The Publishing Post!
